Last year she started a traveling basket with - the members. Each member receiving the basket ac cepted the item of food therein and deposited a donation of cash for the same. Then she placed a contribution of her own in the basket and sent it to the next member. The basket traveled through the club membership and arrived back to the chairman early this year. I4 i - j C 11 Valley Obituaries Sarah Jane Barrett Shults HUBBARD Sarah Jane Bar rett Shultz died February 28 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Nellie Harris. Born Sarah Jane Jordan, March 24, 1856 in Cross Fork, Potter county, Pa, she was married to J. J. Barrett on Nov. 2, 1869. Barrett died in 1900. On Aug. 19, 1919, she married John Shultz. Shultz died in Janu ary, 1948. Mrs. Shultz had lived with her daughter at Hubbard since Feb. 14, 1947. She had been ill for about three months. Her parents were Machel and Andrew Jordan. Survivors are the rlanphtpr Mrs. Harris! sons. Marion Rarrett. Seaside, and William Barrett.
