Hyatt Betrothals Revealed Engagement news, many reveal ed during the holidays, continue to hold the social spotlight. Dr. S. A. Wheatley of Salem and Mrs. J. H. Ingram of Running Springs, Calif, are annoincing the betrothal of their daughter. Miss Ruby Marie Wheatley, to Mars ton Lee, son of Mr. and Mrs. M. P. Leek of West Salem. The wed ding will be an event of February 11. Miss Wheatley and her fiance are graduates of Salem high school and will make their home here after' their marriage. Miss Wldmer Enraged The engagement of Miss Pearl Widmer. daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dan Wldmer of Wood burn, to Morley L. King, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jake King of Alberta, Cana da, was recently announced. No date has been set for the wedding. Miss Amert to Wed Announced during the Christ mas holidays was the engagement of Miss Patricia Amort, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Amort, to Ray G. Klecker, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Klecker of Salem. Miss Amort, who 'attended the University of California, is em ployed at Mayflower Milk Distri buting Ass. Mr. Klecker is em ployed at the state highway com mission at Albany. He attended Oregon State college. The wedding is planned for this spring. Rites Read In Portland Announcement is being made of the marriage of Miss Marvia Pope Leslie, daughter of Robert Leslie of Portland, and Wayde Griswold Drysdale, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Drysdale of Salem, on Saturday. January 8 at Grace Me morial Episcopal church in Port land at 10 o'clock. The morning ceremony was attended by only members of the immediate family and the couple was unattended. A wedding breakfast for the bridal couple was held at the Drys dale home in Salem. The couple will live in Eugene. where he is in business. The bride is a senior at the University of Oregon and her husband is a grad uate of the university.
