Kajer, Eugene, was lodged in the Marion county jail Monday night on a charge of driv ing while intoxicated following a hit-run collision on highway 99 K near Illahee, 10 miles south of Sa lem. State police who made the rrest said Kajer's auto struck another unidentified vehicle. He was apprehended five miles south of the accident scene. Turkeys at Wholesale. Medical Group To Continue Radio Series Terming the state medical soci ety's radio series "a vital adjunct to the health education program of Oregon elementary schools," an advisory committee recommended continuance of the programs after a conference Monday night in the Marion hotel. ' Titled "The Doctor Comes to School," the radio series has been presented the past 13 weeks over KOAC. KBPS and KRVM under the direction of David Hoss, field secretary for the society. Hoss said a second series will begin Febru ary 1, to continue weekly on Tues days at 1:45 p. m. The programs have featured el ementary school pupils and physi cians and dentists.
