Awaits fWeek End with Music9 Spaak's Cabinet Falls in Belgium BRUSSELS, Belgium, Nov. 20 (JP)The Socialist-Catholic cabinet of Premier Paul-Henri Spaak fell Friday following resignation of Justice Minister Paul Struye. It had been in power sine March 19, 1947. Prince Charles, regent of Bel gium, will consult with various political leaders before asking any one to form a government. It is believed that Spaak, a so cialist, will refuse to head a new cabinet. ' V"' ' Seated at her piano. ' MARIE, Ont., Nov. 20-(P)-A new staking rush began today with report of a fresh began Friday with report of a fresh strike of pitchblende, the best source of uranium, at the mouth of the Agawa river on Lake Superior, 105 miles north of here. Some 325 claims jhave been filed at the recorder's office here since the first strike in the Lake Super ior area Oct. 8. GIRL BORN TO ACTRESS NEW YORK, Nov. 20 -(JF) Screen actress Gene Tierney gave j birth today to a six pound, eight j ounce daughter. It is her second j daughter. Boy Wants to Be Chemist if He Grows Up PITTSBURGH, Nov. 20 -(JP) Less than- an hour after he told his teacher he wants to be a chemist when he grows up, a 13-t year-old boy blew off his pants and the cellar door of his home. Young Larry Rose escaped with slight burns of his legs and arm in the explosion that resulted from his efforts to make a rocket. The family residence did not get off so easily. The cellar door was blasted off, a back window shattered and a neighbor's garage window blown out. Larry explained that during his lunch hour he mixed charcoal, sulphur, potassium chloride and cornstarch and packed it into the inch bore of an 18-inch zinc pipe with wadding at the end. He placed it against the - outside house wall, lit it, and ducked inside the cellar door to see what happened. The pipe exploded into fragments. "I like to mix some things up and see something else turn up," he said. Social Security Rolls Totaled Some 1,723 persons In Marion county are receiving social secur ity payments, R. C. Stillwell, Sa lem social security office manager, announced Saturday, Stillwell said $31,334 is paid monthly under terms of the feder al old age and survivors insurance program. Payments are received by 858 persons past the age of 65, by 263 wives past 65 and by 104 aged widows. Also on the list are 88 widows under age 65 and 407 children under 18 who are benefi ciaries of persons eligible for so cial security benefits. . The Salem office, which serves Marion, Polk, Benton, Linn and Lincoln counties, handles payments to 3,441 persons in the five coun ties for total of $61,898 monthly. Polk has 285 persons on the fed eral rolls who receive a total of $4,799 each month. - The maximum payment to any person is $44.80 a month.
