I Birth'day A Luncheon The 33 rd birthday of Chemeke ta chapter. Daughters of the Am erican Revolution will be cele brated at a luncheon on Saturday, November 6 at one o'clock at the Gold Arrow with Mrs. Lester C McLeod, regent, presiding. Reser vations may be made with Mrs, Homer Goulet, sr. or Mrs. Mc Leod. Miss Ola LaMoine Clark, a past regent, will give a history and reminiscences of the chapter. Mrs. Goulet and Mrs. Hornet H. Smith bead the committee in charge of arrangements. Spinsters will meet Monday night at the home of Mrs. .Carlton J. McLeod, 346 N. 13th street, at 8 o'clock to complete plans for the benefit bridge party on November 5. Assisting hostesses will be Mrs. Robert W. Gormsen and Mrs. Ro ger M. Schnell. J Pi Phi Alumnae to Meet Pi Beta Phi alumnae will be en tertained at he chapter house Thursday night at 7:30 o'clock. Plans will be made for the annu al Settlement School sale in No vember. Hostesses for the dessert supper meeting will be Mesdames Charles A. Sprague, Wheeler R. English, Carlton J. McLeod. James Clayton. Joseph M. Devers, Jr., Er nest C. Richard, Chester A. Downs, Kenneth G. Manning, Misses Car olyn Brady and Adele Egan. The meeting was advanced a week due to the regular date falling on Ar mistice day. - JEFFERSON Twenty -eight friends called between the hours of 7:30 and 10 o'clock last Thurs day night to greet Mr. and Mrs. George Potts, sr. on their 57th wedding anniversary. Speaker Talks At Jefferson JEFFERSON Mrs. Mary F. Thomas of Salem spoke on "New Ways with Windows" at the Wed nesday afternoon meeting of the Jefferson Woman's club. Mrs. Gilbert Looney presided. Mrs. Varion Goin read a poem. and reports on the county federa tion meeting in Salem were made. This will be the first meet ing of the group this season. Alpha Chi Omega mothers will meet at the chapter bouse, 299 N. Winter st., Monday night at 7:45 o'clock. Hostesses will be Mrs. Harold B. Jory and Mrs. Floyd Siegmund. Miss Barbara Miller will become the bride, of Maurice Kelly, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Kelly of Scio, No vember 18, at the Jefferson Church of Christ. Announcement was made through home movies made of the couple by W. J. Kelly. The evening was spent playing progressive pit. Serving were Mrs. W. J.
