A total of $500 in fines was tneted out in Marion county dis trict court Monday to two men charged separately with driving while intoxicated. David Elmer Carter, Mill City, and Jefferson Stanley Turenne Ogg, Portland, both pleaded guilty to the charges and were nnea $250 each. Carter was arrested at Mehama by state police Saturday and Ogg by state police in Salem last week. Both men were given 30-day suspended jail sentences. Norman O. Tokstad. 18, Silver ton, was fined $100 by District Judge Joseph Felton after Tokstad E leaded guilty to a charge of ma cious destruction of personal property. Tokstad, and a 17-year-Id. boy, also of Silverton, were charged with destroying the mail box of A. E. Hale near Silverton last week. . Portland Produce PORTLAND.
