Any amateur flower grower from surrounding communities and garden clubs is invited to the exhibit. Entries are to be in by 11:30 a. m., judging to start at 12:00 a. m. Doors will be open from 1 to 9 p. m. Growers must furnish their own containers and be responsible for them. Premiums are to be rib bons. The main divisions are horti culture, flower arrangement, ar rangement of weeds, arrangement in novelty container, twin ar rangement, miniature bouquets, harvest arrangements, arrange ment representing a song. A plant sale will be held and a silver tea. Oct. 9-0P-Ar-nold Zimmerman, about 56, died in a hospital here yesterday of injur ies apparently suffered in a full from a cliff in the Deschutes riv er gorge. Fellow workers, employed at the Dant and Russell Perlite mine at Frieda, found Zimmerman yester day on an abandoned railroad right of way 3'z miles south of Maupin. Sheriff Harold Sexton of Wasc-o county said Zimmerman-had a herd of goats on the bluff and apparent ly fell from a ledge when he went out to milk them.
