Pedee Pastor Transferred PEDEE The Rev. Howard Perry has been transferred from the Pedee, Kings Valley and Sum mit Evangelican United Brethren churches where he has been five years to Vader, Wash., and will move this week. The Rev. Fred Durdle will be here and comes from the Children's Home, Flat Roqjc, Ohio. He recently served at the church's Kentucky mission. - - Mr. and Mrs. Henry Bertolucci (Lulu Turnbom) of San Francisco and her mother, Mrs. Dick Taylor of McMinnville, visited here last week. Taylors are former residents and Mrs.' Bertolucci attended school here and is now a San Francisco art teacher. Mr., and Mrs. P. Draper of Oak land, r Calit, returned home last week from a week with their daughter, Mrs. Frank Hal and family. Ernes Gillispie, employed at Leadbetter shops,- has purchased Alexander Young machine shop at Kings Valley and moved his family there Saturday. ' J. Phy Simpson is ill at his home after suffering a stroke last Sunday. , Falls City Men Fish at Coast FALLS CITY Mr. and" Mrs. Harvey Marr and sons visited her parents, Mr. and ' Mrs. Ben H. Kopecky in Salem Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Marr and Mr. and Mrs. John Gilbert and son Billy made a three-day fish ing trip to the coast. Mrs. Chet Benefiel is visiting the Mrs. C. Brockways in Eugene. Louis Baker of August. Wash., spent the weekend at the Otto Teal's. Mrs. Merill Savage is visiting her sister at Tacoma. v Harvey Marr and son Bobby and Henry Reeves fished on the lower Siletz Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Crane and family are moking back to Falls City from Roberts. Mrs. Betty Joslin of Eugene visited the Mrs. Charles Joslins Sunday. Herson Gary returned with her after spending two weeks with his grandparents. He had a heart attack June 9 and after a short stay in the hospital has been re cuperating at his Evens Valley home until now.
