Mrs. Bailey Savage of Seattle, formerly of Salem, la visiting here as the guest of Mr., and Mrs. Ralph H. Cooler and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Madison. 'Mrs. Savage will leave baturday ior her home. She has been in New York and returned west' via the southern coast route. This afternoon Mrs: Cooler will entertain at luncheon for Mrs. Sav age at Silver Creek Falls lodge. Other guests will be three of her former friends including Mrs. w. X Tfeedham, Mrs. I'M. Dough ton and Mrs. Lee Canfield. Mrs. Donald Madison will be hostess for an informal open house tonight at her North Capital street residence for the pleasure of Mrs. Savage and a group of her friends, who have been invited to call after 8 o'clock. Waldorf. Mr. Eggstaff hopes to come north to accompany his family home. Arriving in Salem Saturday for a several weeks visit will be Mrs. Fred McFarlin of Superior, Wis consin, who will be the guest of ner orotner and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Ervin F. Smith. Vacationing here for a fortnight are Mr. and Mrs. Warren Keener and sons, Mike and Mac, of Oak land. Calif., who are guests of their -parents, Mrs. M. E. Keeney and Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Cladek.
