Crisler May Quit Michigan ANN ARBOR. Mich.. March 31 (AF)- Herbert O. (Fritz) Crisler, stood strictly "mum"' today in the face of printed rumors that he would leave his post as athletic director at the University of Michigan by next June to enter private business. Crisler, who retired only two weeks ago as Michigan's head coach but announced he would stay on as athletic director, said he had "absolutely no comment"' on a report in the Detroit News that he "has negotiated for a po sition in Chicago that presumably would pay several times his sal ary of $14,500 at Michigan."
