If some of northern California's drought blows up Salem way, or
this summer's sun causes a rationing of water for lawn sprinkling,
Mrs. H. P. Chase of 871 N. 17th st. will think little of it. Her own well,
pump and water tank located in the 57-year-old windmill tower of
her house will keep her from worrying about a water shortage.
