Harwood, 1142 Edge water st. West Salem, paid a $185 fine and received a 90-day sus pended sentence in municipal court Tuesday on a charge of driving while under the influ ence of intoxicating liquor. He was arrested at 1:30 a.m. Tues day by city police officers who reported they saw Harwood's car strike a parked vehicle in the 200 block of South Commercial street. They said he did not stop but continued on for two blocks be fore hailed to the curb by the police car. RECKLESS DRIVING CHARGE Frank Weisbeck, Salem route 8, will appear for trial December 19 on a charge of reckless driv ing to which he pleaded innocent -in Marion county district court Tuesday. Weisbeck was arrested Tuesday, on complaint of Paul Rickard, Salem route 7, whose car was involved in a collision with an auto driven by Weisbeck November 26 about 1'4 miles north of Salem on the Pacific highway.
