University of Oregon student

ported tcday that Anson B. Cor
nell, athletic business manager on
the campus the past 12 years,
would resign to enter private
business.
The student 1 paper quoted Cor
nell as saying he was entering in
to a laundry business with
branches here and in Roseburg
and that he may leave his position
next year.
Cornell aid, however, that he
has not resigned yet and has not
decided definitely when or if he
trill quit.

man of the Cherry City Boy Scout
district Wednesday mgnt at a
meeting Of Salem area scout lead
ers at the Pringle Park scout hut.
Burris replaces Roy Harland
and will take over his new duties
on January 1. Other officers elect

chairman, and Sam Randale, disV
