Miss Donna Upjohn was hostess for a dessert i-upper party-Friday-night at the South Liberty ttreet home of her parents, the Donald Upjohns, -in honor of Mis Hughlett. The eve ning was per.t informally and a miscellaneous shower feted the bride-to-be. Honoring Miss Hughlett were Mrs. H. W. Haifrhlett, Miss Ruth Hughlett. Mr. William Cate of Boston. Mu. They drove west and will tour on the coast for three months. and Mrs. Mr. and Mrs. John M. Jerman of Corvallis have been spending a few days at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Linn C. Smith. Mr. Jarman will continue with his studies at j Oregon State college during the summer session. Dr. and Mrs. A. D.
