The little girls, who weighed six pounds, two ounces, and five pounds, twelve ounces. have been named Peggy Sue and Patsy Lou. The twins have an older brother. John. Their grand parents are Mr. and, Mrs. David H. Cameron of Salem and Mr. and Mrs. S. C. Strickfaden of San dusky, Ohio. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Rhoten are the parents of a daughter, Linda Rae, born May 10 at the Salem General hospital. The little girl has an older sister, Rosemary. Miss Dentel is a graduate of Canby nigh school and attended Oregon State college. She is a graduate nurse of the University of Portland. Ranch Ramblings Bv Rural Reporter '-. Some 80 Oregon Jerseymen from Linn and Benton counties, along with families, . friends and visitors from neighboring counties assembled Sunday at the attractive-farm home of N. V. Shelby and Sons near Albany for the May Linn-Benton Jersey Cattle club meeting. The warm sun made an ideal day for visitors to look over some of the Shelby cattle, eyeing especially the two animals recently imported fro mthe Isle of Jersey and bought by the Shelbys from Rex Ross of Mt. Angel, im porter. Floyd Wolberg who will judge the two-county Jersey show, on May 23. was a special guest. Announcement was made that around 100 head will be ex hibited. v ; John Banick of Brooks is proud of his 45 purebred Dorset Horned sheep. The breed is unusual in that the ewes have Iambs at any time of the year "spring lambs" having no meaning for the Dorset mother. One Dorset ewe on the Banick farm had six lambs, with in two years and produced 11 pounds of wool annually, with no supplemental feeding during that time. ; : Judges' named for hte June 7 Marion County Fat Lamb show at Turner are Harry Lindgren, O M.
