County Audit Detects Flaws Comments of the county audi tor, Floyd K. Bowers, on his audit of Marion county fiscal affairs up to June 30, 1946. filed Friday, deal principally with bookkeep- ing procedure. The audit states about the bud get that the estimated delinquen cy of the current year's levy Was apparently determined in an in correct manner, that certain esti mated expenditures were not suf ficiently itemized and that the expendable surpluses used to re duce property tax levies were underestimated. Improvement was advised in ac counting for fixed assets and road involving fund supplies and use of equipment The report de 1 1 led the borrowing of small sums Irm cash on hand by employes of the health department, which totaled $o. on last July 1.
