Trading was much less active than in the hectic market of last week and in wheat con sisted mostly of small lots. In the first hour all grains showed considerable strength with the March wheat contract reach ing a new 27-year high at 82 64 But the market fell back quickly when buying demand dried up and for the rest of the session price changes were small.
