Wells of Independence, was announ ced at the Sigma Kappa sorority house on the Oregon State college campus October 14. No date has been set for the wedding. Proceeds from the benefit will be given to the YWCA building fund. Tables for bridge and pinochle will be set up and guests are asked to bring their own accessories. Playing will start at 8 o'clock with the fashion show following. Those wishing reservations are asked to call Mrs. Roy Mink, 9597. Mrs. James Smart will play dur ing the show and Miss Jean Tay lor will be the commentator. Tea to Fete Mothers Town and Gown club will give a tea on Thursday afternoon, for mothers of new students on the Willamette university campus. , The program, set for 2:30 o'clock. will be held in the Music hall and the tea, which will follow the pro gram, wil' be at University house. The speaker during the program will be Charles A. Sprague, and music will be furnished by a uni versity string trio including Ka therine Schissler, Wallace Bjork, viola and Geraldine Schmocker, violin. Mrs. E. M. Page is chairman of the tea committee. Mrs. Melvin Geist is president of the club this year and will preside at the first fall meeting.
