Aug. 29-(P)-Tim-id bidding: gave the stock mar ket a selective lift today although many leaders failed to attract support. Accounts were reinstat ed here and there, brokers said, on the idea recent selling had been overdone and the list due for a substantial technical re vival. Wall Streeters remained more or less cautious because of for eign uncertainties and apprehen sion over strike prospects at home. Transfers of 1.060,000 shares compared with 2,100,000 the day before. The Associated Press 60 stock composite was up .1 of a point at 71.6 following three suc cessive declines in which it touched bottom since last Octo ber.
