Corn, Oats in
Weak Selling
CHICAGO, July 13 -fV Pro
nounced weakness developed in
oats today and prices dropped
aa much as 3Vs cents in a mar
ket where the trend waa down
ward throughout the entire ses
sion. Corn .weakened toward the
close after establishing a new
high of $1.73 in the early trading.
Selling of oats wag based pri
marily upon easiness in the cash
market, where prices were down
as much as 5 cents a bushel at
the close. Movement of oats in
creased sharply, primary markets
getting 1,510,000 I bushels against
537,000 a week ago and 362,000
Favorable reports were received
on European crops with Broom
hall, British grain authority, sta
tin, "two of the largest Importers
during the past 12 months, Fran
ce and Italy, are harvesting much
larger wheat crops than last Tear."
