TJfean and Mrs. Melvln Geist are leaving by ear on Sunday, June 23 for New York City, where he will study! with pernard Taylor for the sum mer. Dean Ceist will also take work in French literature from Maggie Teyte. who has just return ed from Europe, at the Juillard School of Music. The Geists will be away until September and have sublet an apartment In New York. Mrs. Ralph H. Campbell and-her aunt. Mrs. Gertrude Ovelman of 'Portland, are leaving today by plane for Boston. New York. Philade'phip. Pitts burgh and Cleveland, where they will visit rela tives for a month... They will also make the re turn trip by plane. Eastward Bound 'Mr. and Mrs. Herbert J. "Their destination is De- troit, where they will .visit Mrs. Mullica's son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. John Mullica. Leaving Monday for Chicago will be Mr. Ray A. Yocom and her daughter, Miss Rachael Yocom. Mrs. Yocom came west for the marriage of her daughter. Roberta jean, and Don Fox. last week. Miss Yocom, who has been head of the women's physical education department at Utah State col lege, Logan, Utah, has taken a years leave of ab sence from Her work to go to New York City. There ah wiD study for her doctor's degree in educa tion, with a major in physical education, at New York university, where she, will also teach during the year. Miss Yocom, who does not leave for New York until fall, plans to apefid two weeks in Chicago at the new family home, after which she will leave on a motor trip. She will be accompa nted bv May O'Donnell. who dances with Martha Graham, and her husband. , They will first drive to Mexico and then over, to Los Angeles and up the coast to Canada. .'
