Valley Obituaries Assrtelle McCarter DALLAS, May 8 -(Special) Austell e McCarter, 68, died Tues- day cf a heart attack which fol - lowed burns received last Friday while burning brush on the Mor tis Dai ton farm three miles west of town. Funeral services will be held May 9 from Henkle-Bowman chapeL The Rev. Fred Towne will officiate. He was born here July 3, 1878, and was married twice, to Minnie Pearl Bird who died in 1923, and in 1830 to Mary E. Thompson who died in September, 1944. Survivors are a son, Rupert H. McCarter, Toledo, Wash.; a daughter, Oliva J. Strout, Vancouver. Wash.; Virginia A. Crenk, Salem; also four grandchildren, Carmly Kay . Strout. Marie and Rodney J. Crenk and Eugene McCarter.
