September and Decenjber wheat and rye cm in for some unex pected liquidation and first frac tional setbacks in weeks. Rye later rallied to fipih again at the ceiling., but wheat was left with a Ions of cen.t a bushel for September and H cent for December. R. W. Bell of Lmon Brothers and Company said- there was widespread fear that other grains might soon be brought under a government allocation program similar to that imposed upon wheat and that at least a few interest had decided to dispose of their futures contracts. Bufori, but If Mly yea played some thing; else! Mrs. Egr Dies After Stroke SCIO, March 7-(Special) -Mrs. Mary Egr, 79, died Wednesday evening in her home, following a paralytic strike Monday. She was born Christmas Day, 1866, in Wisconsin, and came west to Hoquiam, Wash., shortly after her marriage to the late John Egr, who preceded her in death five years ago. She had lived in Scio 36 years. Surviving are a son, Ed Egr, Hoquiam, Wash., two daughters, Mrs. Caroline Lewis, Hoquiam, and Mrs. Libbie Borocicka, Scio. three sisters, two grandchildren and four great grandchildren. The funeral will be held at 3:30 p.m. Friday at Z..C.B.J. nan in Scio, with the Rev. Victor Louck in charge. Burial will be in Frank lin Butte cemetery, under direc tion of Howe-Huston funeral home. Of the nine provinces of Can ada, seven have a coastline on salt water.
