Wheat and oats were lower in early trade, with demand slow, but prices advanced with rye in late dealings. December rye soared to $1.925i a bushel, a new 25 year high, and was lls cents higher t&an De cember wheat, which is stopped by a ceiling. No ceiling has been placed on December and May rye but the maximum on July and September, 1946, rye is $1.44. Wheat closed V4 , higher to lower than the previous finish, December $1.80 ceiling, corn was unchanged at $1.18 ceil ings, oats were up to V down, December $1.92, and barley was up to off, December $1.21.
