Mr. and Irs. Potts wre mar ried October 31. 1891, in Paw nee county, Nebraska', where they lived for 27 years. Mrs. Potts was a teacher in rural schools before her marriage. Mr. Potts followed farming, stock . raising, shipping of grain and mercantile business.' Served his county two terms as county treasurer, two terms county representative in the state leg islature and two terms as chief clerk of the house of represen tatives in Nebraska, j In 191$ they moved to Mon tana where Mr. Potts was en gaded in the sheep and cattle business.
