There is no pro gram chairman as ; the head of this committee could hot serve. Mrs.! Brandt announces that hot lunches will start at school as soon as the cook returns from a trip to the east. Mrs. Standley is arranging for a a health clinic at the school and will announce date soon. The regular meeting of the executice group is the after noon of the 'second Tuesday in the month. Thirteen mem bers were present and Mrs. Chris McDonald, president, conducted the meeting.. The party , for the Boy Scouts was planned for Oct. Plans were made to give the children of Mehama and commun ity a Halloween- pariy. In the high school, the freshman class now numbers 109, the : largest in the history of the school; sophomores, 63; juniors, 56; and seniors, 44, and six special studentsor a total of 278 students, an increase of 46 over the first day registration area for community cannery in preference at home canning.
