May 16 at Hi-Home. Mothers of all high school students and the interest ed public are invited to attend, between 1 and 4:30 o'clock. "May day" is the theme of the open house and will be carried out in the decor ations. Salem Council Plans Meeting The Salem Council of Wom an's Organizations will hold their last meeting of the year Thursday at 2 p. m. in the fire place room of the First Methodist church. The main speaker will be Mrs. Paul R. Llndholm who will tell of her experiences 'with the Japanese. The nominating committee will announce the names of the officers for the coming year. Mrs. Albert J. Walker will preside at this meet ing.
