Williamson, grand old man of this community where he had -resided for 70 years, died today at his home here.' Funeral services will be held Wednesday from Cloufh Barrick chapel at 3 pjn. Born-iuy 10 1852 in Lullen, Denmark Mr. Williamson came to the UmfeoTStates in! 1874 settling first in Wisconsin and after five monuis xo vregon. Me settled in the .Waldo ; hills community and later bought the first of what be came his 240 acre farm at the time of his death, ; j .,:-' His wife, Matilda; Williamson, AoA in 1Q9Q SiirvSuino av :,v. children, Marie Hendershott of Stayton; Mildred Bartruff of Ev erett, Wash.; Rosalie; French, and Bertha Ligon of Portland; Hilda Woe Ike and Carolyn Williamson, Victor Williamson and William Williamson all of Salem; three grandchildren, Eleanor Burns of Portland ;Jeanette Bartruff. Ever ett; and Alois Williamson of Salem. He was a member of the Luther an church. The Rev. W. H. Cooks ley of the Labish Center church will have charge of the funeral service and burial will be made in City View cemetery. Mr. Williamson was a member of the Hazel Green school board at least three different times, the first of which was in 1S82, local residents recall. He served again about r 1908 and again about 1914 when the present school house was being built His son, Victor, had taken over management of the farm which in cluded considerable of the choice beaver dam soil in -the Lake La buh district His daughter.
