meeting. Various legisature mea
sures were discussed. A short pro
gram arranged by Elizabeth Truax,
Pomona lecturer, and by Fern
Sletto, lecturer from Santiam Val
ley -was given in the afternoon.

Mrs. Laura Neal; visited Satur
day with her husband who is In
the Lebanon hospital. Neal has
been in the hospital for some time
as a result of injuries received
while loading piling. He is much
improved and expects to' be home
