Miss Yeater, a teacher of home
economics in the Lentz district of
Portland, suffered a severe attack
of tonsilitis and continued teach

to defer until va cation started, the
rest needed j for recuperation. .She
became so ill that jshe was brought
from Portland to a Salem hospital
by : ambulance. Blood transfusions
failed to save her life.
She was a memlber of Sunbeam

services for Sally Esson, who died
last- Thursday in a Salem hos
