Hammond and daughter, Constance, art arriving in . the capital this -. morning from San Francisco to visit with her parents, Mr. and Mrs.,, Ralph Glover, for several weeks. Colonel Hammond plans to join his family here later in the month. -He is stationed at the Presidio where they reside. Mrs. F. W. Lehmer returned to Salem Sunday from a three months' trip.. She went east in ' March with her. daughter, - Jo .-Love, .who was married, on March 18 to Lt Roswell Beach in Boston. From there Mrs. Lehmer went to Texas and Ok lahoma where she: visited with members of her family. She is now at home at her apartment at the Royal Court Miss Charlotte McClary, a, former Salem resident residing in San Francisco, spent the ' weekend here as the house guest of Miss Eleanor Trindle. Miss McClary came north two weeks ago and yisited in Seattle with Mr. and Mrs. Willis Dunaway. She was met in Portland by Mrs. Nora Ball and her daugh ter, Mrs. Roy Edgerton. Miss McClary leaves for the bay city . today and enroute south will . stop in Klamath Falls to visit her brother-in-law and sister, . Dr. and Mrs. S. F. Scott , Mr. and Mrs. J.F.C. Robertson -. (Katherine Earle) are visiting ; at the home of her parents, Mr," and Mrs. S. M. Earle, for a month. They have been-making ; their home in Detroit, Mich. . Mrs. Russell Fuller (Anna . Calaba) of San Francisco is vis visiting 5 her parents, " Mr. and ' Mrs. Frank Calaba. She plans ' to be here a month and her hus band will join her later. They resided in Washington, DC un til February and make their home in the bay city now where he is an architect with the mari time commission. ; . Mrs. William Connell Dyer returned Sunday from Manitou Springs, Colorado where she has been visiting : her son and . daughter-in-law, Lt and Mrs. William C. Dyer, and their young son, William III. Lt Dy er is. stationed at nearby Camp Carson. i ' Felicitations are going te Sgt and Mrs. Richard Satter on two accounts. Sunday night they be came parents of a daughter, Su san Ann, weight seven pounds three ounces at time f her birth : at Salem General hospital. Mon day was their first wedding an nivarsary. The little girl is the second grandchild of Mr. and Mrs. Edward J. Satter of Sa lem. Prior to her marriage, the younger Mrs. Satter was Mary i Ellen Hayner of Bloomington, III., daughter of Mr. R. C. Snyder a Bride Miss Hazel Snyder, -daughter of Mrs. Elmer E. Snyder, was married to Mr. Eugene W. Cro thers, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Crothers, at a quiet 1 ceremony , Sunday morning at the First Presbyterian church. Dr. Henry Marcotte officiated at the 9 o'clock rites before members of the immediate family. After the wedding the couple left for a trip along the Oregon coast They will make their home in Portland where he Is em ployed. The bride is a graduate of Wil lamette university and her hus band also attended the univer sity. The new Mrs. Crothers is' an active member of the Bus iness and Professional Women's 'club. She formerly was an In structor at the Capital Business college and later was employed at the Salem Credit Bureau. Willamette Actor Receives Praise In a marked copy of the Morn ing Telegraph, a daily devoted to motion pictures, theatre and turf, George Freely, New York critic reviews the performance of "Twelfth Night" at the New school theatre. Of Darald de "Lancey's, acting he says, "Darald de 'Lancey's portrayal ' of Sir Toby was Falstaffin in concept and Callot-like in make-up, but it was a consistently amusing bit of acting." . ! DeLancey, a Willamette uni versity graduate, and popular, member of many students casts, is now in summer stock in For- est Park, Pa.
