PRA Requests Highway Work Grange Told Protests of officers of the Ore gon state , grange against the' im mediate improvement of three sections of the Pacific highway, cost $2,500,000, apparently are based- on a misunderstanding. state - highway commission . offi cials declared here Friday. Highway department officials made it plain that these projects wejre not initiated by the highway commission but at the request of the federal public roads adminis tration and the army' transporta tion corps.
