Forty five enlisted men, a few with their f wives, were enter tained by Mr. and Mrs. Lee U. Eyerly at the Flying E ranch Sunday. Transportation was fur nished by the Chemeketa street USO, with H. R. Anthony, pro gram director, in charge of the group. These trips occur about once in six weeks. Guests roam about the spacious grounds, see the Arabian horses, ride a palomino horse with silver bridle and ex amine thei Eyerly collection of riding outfits and guns. Surprise f at the variety of spring flowers in bloom was ex pressed by those whose home states are blanketed . with snow at this time of year. In the personal exchange it was found that men were pre sent from ' sixteen states: Ohio, . Minnesota,! New York, Michi gan, California, Oregon, Mary land, New; Jersey, West Virgin-la,- Illinois, Pennsylvania, Ne vada, Kansas, North Dakota, Kentucky and Missouri. Many had been stationed in other parts of the country I before coming to Camp Adair of the Salem Air Base.
