Plan Community Cannery Project SILVERTON Plans are un derway for the next summer's community cannery, Leonard Hud son, supervisor, announced Fri day. The old creamery building at Silverton, used during the past season, - will be used again next summer, and has "already been rented for that purpose., The can nery hopes to open by the first of June, Mr. Hudson said. During the past season the can nery operated for 92 'days and during that time 43,830 cans were put! trp. The highest number of any; one product was corn with 13,840 cans of corn canned. String beans numbered ' 11,500, and car rots 2340. There were 10,000 cans of tomatoes and tomato Juice.
