Dance Ends Bond Rally INDEPENDENCE To celebrate the successful accomplishment of their war bond rally, the high school students are sponsoring a dance at the high school gym I ri day night, April SO. The high school students are to be admitted to the public. Admission Is 75 cents a couple. Music will be pro vided by the Top Hatters. . The bond drive started February 1 with a goal of $10,000. The drive was to conclude with a dance which would be ruled over by a king and queen chosen from the class which had sold most bonds. The drive closed last Friday with a total of $47,111 in bonds sold. The freshman class was first with $18,528. The Juniors, seniors and lomores. finished in that order. Cook, Margaret Traylor and Ted dy Finley. The crown J bearer is Dallas Banks; flower girls, Vir ginia Busby and Doris Becken; pages, Jean Osborn and Fern Gaines; trumpeters, Bette Henry and Doreen Parks. ; "" , .
