' . ; The rooms were decorated In led and white. Six girls dressed In red, holding white lighted ta pers, formed the aisle for the bride. The girls were Miss Aur jfey Harms, Miss Audrey Christ man, Miss Virginia Loop, Miss Katherine Rowe, Miss Madeline Morgan and Miss Gladys Crawford- i s. - The bride wore an ivory crepe 'gown, made with: a shirred bod Ice and a sweetheart neckline. The train was long, and the lace edged veil was finger tip length. The bouquet was of white carna tions, gardenias and bouvardia. The maid of honor, Miss Lu nella Chapin, dressed in white, carried red and white roses. . Ross Chapin was best man and Mr. LeRoy Long was suher. Miss Maxine Hughes played a violin number? and Miss Doris Weber played the wedding march. Following the ceremony, a re ception was held, in the living rooms. Mrs: Clyde Colwell poured, Miss : Jean - Muscott of i Portland cut the cake and Mrs. ' Paul Brandon ; was in charge of the guest book:' Six girls -who formed the bridal aisle during the ceremony served and Miss Carol Mason passed the dream cakes. For her daughter's wedding, Mrs. Barker wore a light ' blue ' two-piece crepe dress and a cor sage of yeltow roses and free sias. The groom's mother wore ' a rose crepe , dress trimmed in lace, and a corsage of Talisman roses and freesias. r' The young couple will live " ion North River road. She is a member of Alpha Phi " Alpha and is a graduate of Wil lamette university. ' She is on the faculty. Mr. Chapin attended Willam ette university for two years where he was a member of Al pha Psi Delta, and then attended Oregon State college. Wedding Event . Of November VT- avs4 Km n T. The bride was dressed in a dressmaker suit of soft brown wool, accentuated with green accessories. Her corsage was of deep rose carnations. Immedi ately following the ceremony, Mr. and Mrs. Lyman left on a short wedding trip to Minneap olis. Mr. Lyman is with the army and at present is stationed in Fort Lewis. Mrs. Lyman will re main with her parents until aft er the first of the year, and then will Join her husband in Wash-, ingtcn.
