Vespers Group Has Party University vespers of the First - Methodist church held the year's first church night party in the basement playroom of the church Friday night. Thanksgiving decorations served as theme, with turkeys, pump kins and fall flowers featured. Informal games planned by Miss Jean Fries and Mr. Dix Moser were played, including pingpong and other table games. Leading the games were Mr. Paul Jaquith assisted by Miss Louise Wrisley who lead the group singing. The Misses Bette Burkhart and Nadene Mathews had charge of the entertainment Miss June Nichol planned the decorations and Miss Margaret Herd the refreshments; Shower Honors Bride-Elect Mrs. Myrtle Walker was host ess on Thursday night at a par- ty for Miss Mildred Rickman, who will marry Mr. Carson Vehrs on Sunday.
