On one street they found their father's motor car, stolen two days ago. Their reward was a de fense bond. OMAHA-(ff)-"I think IH learn to swim.' That was the reaction of nine- year-old James Laflin after he was rescued from drowning by Edward C Bitcom and Harry J. Petersen, who were fishing in the lake. James was on a raft with two companions. Although unable to swim, he became frightened and jumped overboard. Bitcom brought the boy to shore and Petersen revived him.
