Music Groups Dine Together A joint meeting of the Music Teachers association and the Junior Federated Music clubs of Salem was held at the Argo ho tel Friday. Miss Dorothy Pearce is president of the music , teach ers and Mrs. Jessie Bush Mick elson of the junior federated clubs. Mrs. J. H. Forth, state president cf the federated music clubs was the speaker. She dis cussed the national program in music, the contests and scholar ships being sponsored. She also spoke on music for morale and defense, saying that the federa tion Is featuring folk songs and inter-American music and dis couraging the prejudice against music of the axis countries. The federation, she said is stressing that this must be a victory of , culture and ideals as well as a military victory.
