' An important event of Thurs- ' day n i g h t for the Camp Fire Girls was the father and daugh ter banquet at the high school cafeteria at 6:30 o'clock. Oyer 200 girls and their fathers at tended the affairrr !j Mrs. Sidney King made ar rangements for the banquet and Mrs. George Bagnall was j in charge of the program. Other guardians assisted in the serv ing, j ' - J ' j ; Miss Mary Parker, who is com pleting her fifth year as a Camp Fire Girl, was the toastmistress. Miss Betty Jo Beardsley gave a toast to the fathers and Mr. Bry an 13mley gave the response. Mr. Conley is the new president of the Chemeketa Camp Fire Girls council. ' ' L ' j . Miss Jovell Parker, Miss Char lotte Alexander and Mips Rose mary Gaiser gave piano solos. The Tawanka group sang the "Walking Song."
