J Rape Seed j In Demand ! DALLAS Indications are that rape seed is going to be very much in demand if requests for prices on seed and information on the possible crop outlook can be taken as a criterion. .. Klf , Numerous requests have been reecived by W. C. Leth, Polk coun ty agent, for information relative to supplies and prices .on this crop. Several growers have ap plied , for certification inspection on rape plantings in order to take advantage of whatever price ad vances .may come on certified dwarf essex rape. ' , i -: Because Mr. Leth's office is re ceiving numerous j requests for seed supplies, he suggests that anybody, having rape plantings that they expect to save for seed, make application for certification and also list such plantings with his office so that information can be given growers relative to prices and possible market. ' ; ? ' Most certification work? done in the county has already been com pleted. However, it may be possi ble to secure an inspector from the farm crops department to make additional field, examinations should there be requests. Such re quests would have to be made soon, according to Mr. Leth, be cause it is necessary 1 to examine the blossoms in order to make sat isfactory field inspections. Furth er information " may Mil secured from Mr. Leth. ':. ?H'V Closing Quotations NEW YORK, May 3-)-Today's closing quotations: .J;f :.
