Mrs. Residents Say Reports False KEIZER Citizens of this com munity Monday hastened to deny reports circulated in Portland pa pers last weekend to the effect that the old Keizer school is on the verge of being torn down and the land on which it stands re turned to the original owners. Thev pointed out that the land was oricinallv deeded permanently on the sinele condition that it be used for educational purposes, and that the old building, which last year was supplemented by a new structure built by WPA, is still in use. Mrs. Bernard Benson will be hostess at the next meeting, on March 4. car, Dallas Men Miss Death as Car Turns Turtle DALLAS Occupants of a driver not disclosed, narrowly missed death Thursday morning at 1 o'clock when the machine in which Victor Brantt and Fay Ad kins of Dallas and Willard Diehm of Monmouth turned turtle near the Ferris mill on the Falls City road. The car became out of con trol when striking loose gravel. It was completely demolished. All three were brought to the Dallas hospital. - Brantt was most seriously in jured, suffering bruises and pos sible Internal Injuries. Adkins was confined to the hospital for a few hours observation. Diehm was treated for minor cuts and bruises and released.
