Little feels a personal respon sibility in the matter, because he was a member of the football coaches committee that sat In with the rules committees and sponsored the changes. He has received a lot of letters from puz zled coaches and has heard of some strange reactions. "I saw a story the other day where one coach was worried about the new rule permitting the ball to be handed forward behind the line of scrimmage," he said. This coach had the idea that the bajl could be handed forward to a lineman on the line of scrim mage, and feared that the result would be a helter-skelter attack. "Actually, the rule provides that the ball may not be handed for ward to any offensive man who is on the line of scrimmage, or to any player who comes from the line, unless he has faced his own goal and is at least a yard back when he receives the ball." ' Little also cautions his compa triots against worrying about the new unlimited substitution rule. "Don't worry about that. There win be no wholesale substituting. i never saw an Inferior, team master-minded into beating a bet ter team, and I don't think I ever ' Will." -f- Amity in Y-P Mix DALLAS Amity visits Dallas high for a Polk-Yamhill league clash here Friday nighL A tight game Is expected, as the Dragons were held to a 2S-21 at Amity last month.
