Large Quantity Recipe Given A request for large quantity coffee came to my desk todsy. The questioner asked for a recipe to make coffee with a cloth bag. The recipe Is simple, and by the way. It's a practical method to make large qaanti ties, because the cof fee which results is clear and very good. No aard-to-vt equipment need be used. Measure 1 cup of ground coffee for each gallon, or 14 cups coffee, needed. Put coffee In a cloth sack (salt and small sugar sacks Are good because the'sauslln Js rather thin. Tie the coffee loosely tn taa bag, to allow for expansion. When wster Is actually boiling, put In sack and poke down with a fork. Remove coffee from the stove im mediately and let steep for about five minutes until coffee is of .the right strength. A pound of coffee will make approximately 80 cups.
