This service has been estab lished for local traffic for the past several years but this will be the first time in pacific north west transportation history that the service has been offered for trans-continental shipments. Under the new service shippers who havs less-than-carload ship ments to send to eastern points may bars their shipments picked up at their door for no extra charge, or if they are receiving shipments of this class from east ern points it will be delivered to their door at no additional ex pense.
