Starting at 10:30 o'clock in the morning, a program of folk. : dancing and group sinking will te given oa the school ground. Locncy Butts and Sidney schools , will join with Jefferson in the children's choruses. These schools are giving special j numbers. A chorna made up of children from ; . the four lower grades will sing a ; croup of son ft ender the direction of Mrs. Gilbert Looney. She plana to use children from all grades in a variety of dances. The folk dancing program follows: Virst and second grades, "Seven . Jumps." Danish folk; dance, ear- ; , rouse I, ana Swedish merry-go- i round. Third, fourth, fifth and sixth grades, Danish dance of greeting, German kindergarten. ,. Shoemaker's dance. "I See Ton. singing game. Fifth and sixth grades. Maypole dance. Seventh grade, Ace of Diamonds, Bleklng- ' Swedish, and "Fop Goes the Wea sel." Eighth grade, Irish jig. Sel lenger's round (English), Ace of : Diamonds. English Maypole dance. : At noon there will be a basket lunch Xor those who wish to bring lunches and stay on the grounds. Home made candy will be sold to help defray incidental expenses of the operetta. In the afternoon, starting at 1:30, the upper grade pupils will present an operetta, "Green Cheese." This Is the story of an American. Jimmy Sheriff, played by Monte Weddle. who goes to Switzerland to secure a recipe for 4 new cheese. When he arrives In the Swis village Uppenlawn he finds the villages are j preparing zor a festival, at which time a new .cheese is to be feted. He becomes -acquainted with Trini, played by Betty Chilton, and Frieda played ,by Mary Wilson. Other Important Characters are. mayor of Uppen lawn. Earl Marcum; Johann Von- Bimmer, Jack Skelton; Eric Voo Bimmer, Robert Simpson; Hans, Bobby Bruce. A chorus of upper grade pupils in Swiss costume, takes the part of the Swiss Tillagers. Scenery for the operetta was made by Alden Sheffield, Jerrold Olden berg, and Clarence Kll3on. Richard Van Winkle is property manager. 1m m Club Notes Good Morning. Mice.
