He had been confined there for the past three years. Funeral services will be held Monday at S o'clock from the Eiman Memorial fun eral home with the Rer. Edward Terry In Chars. Rot. Clower was born January 15. itll. at Rlasa, I1L He at tended Blachbam university at CarUnTUle. 1VL, and la 181 mar ried Lillian WUton at Medora. In 1I1S he was admitted to the West Nebraska conference of the Meth odist church, and later to the Wyoming conference. At the time f his death he was a member of the Idaho conference. Rer. Clower had serf ed as pas tor la a number of Oregon Meth odist congregations Including those of Canyon City, John Day. Prairie , City Haines. North Pow der, Joseph and Vale. Because of 111 health he retired in 1930 and came to Sllrerton to be with his daughter, who was then Miss Elaine Clower, a teacher in the Ellverton, schools. His Masonic connections Includ ed master Mason at Dysart, Iowa, In ISM; member of the Kemmer er lodge No. S3 AT and AM at Kemmerer, Wyo., at the time of his death; a member of Jhe 1916 class of Wyoming Consistory No. 1 and of Scottish Rite at Cheyenne. Wyo.; also of the Koreln temple of Mystic Shrine at Rawllngs. Wyo. SnrriTors Include the widow, Lillian Clower at Silrerton; one son, Sidney George Clower at Wendell. The girls formed a sewing club under the leadership of Mrs. Doris McCormack. choosing ' as their officers, Cecil Lererman, president, Vivien Burbank, vice president, and Charlotte Bush, secretary. ! The boys, led by Miss Evelyn Carlson formed a handicraft club and chose as president, Albert Eschricht; vice-president, Ray mond Bush, and secretary, Arvll Zzlah. - The first regular meeting of the two groups will be held Fri day afternoon, December 8, at the school house. Miss Doris Rlener took a group of delegates to the county 4H club meeting at Dallas last Friday afternoon. Those accompanying her were Debney Arnold, Richard Abercrombie, Raymond Bush, Sonny Kilmer and Arvll Ozlah. Foresters Lodge Initiates Four STAYTON Four new members were initiated into the first de gree of the Catholic Order of Foresters at a joint initiation held at the Stayton Foresters hall Monday night St. Boniface court of Sublimity and the Immaculate Conception court of stayton in itiated before a large attendance. I M. Doerfler of Sublimity was the degree captain. Arrangements were made at this meeting by the Stayton lodge to hold its annual Christmas program Monday night, December 18th. In January, the second and third degree will be exemplified at Sublimity, the degrees to be la charge of the same team. At Monday's meeting talks were given by the new chief rang er of the Sublimity court, Ernest Riesterer, Rev. Father Sniderhon, spiritual director of Stayton court and Edward J. Those initiated were Mrs. Ruth Vaughn, Mrs. Miriam Murray, Mrs. Mildred Brown, Mrs. Bessie McFetrldge, Mrs. Dorothy Kuix and Mrs. F. A. Patterson. Following the lodge meeting a social time and sapper hoar was enjoyed. The tables were centered with baskets of greenery carrying out the Christmas motif. The Fox family is moving to the Clarence Dornhecker farm here. The Dornheckers moved to Falls City.
