Fall pledging to the three campus-sororities will be held Sun day, October 21. On Tuesday evening Delta Phi will entertain with a buffet sap per at their house on Court street from 6:30 to 7:30 o'clock. Members of the Alpha Phi Al pha will be hostesses Wednesday and Thursday the Beta Chi soror ity will entertain at the same hours. ; - j The new pledges will be hon ored at formal preferential dinners at each house Saturday night. Opposite Court House Hugh Morrow Speaker at Meeting Mr. Hugh Morrow, librarian of the Salem public library, reviewed several books during the meeting of the Salem Women's club yes terday afternoon. Among the books he discussed briefly were: "April Was When It Began," by Bene field; "Children of God," by Fish er; "Rain Upon God's Hill." by Priestly and "Country Lawyer," by Partridge and "Factories in the Field,", by McWilllams. Miss Harriet Long introduced the speaker. The musical program included several piano numbers by Miss Rosemary Gaiser. During the tea hour, Mrs. Helen Soutbwick and Mrs. Ronald Glo ver poured at a beautifully ap pointed table centered with an ar rangement of bronze chrysanthe mums, guarded by gold tapers. Talisman roses and autumn leaves were arranged around the rooms. Mrs. Henry Morris was tea chair man. Byron Randall Finds Success in East The Art Center's star pupil, By ron Randall, again bits the head- and telling the prices which those who want them are expected to pay.
