They requested the council of state governments, sponsor ot the three-day conference on the re moval of state trade barriers, to take these steps: 1. To discourage the adop tion of any retaliatory legisla tion by states. S. To encourage the repeal of trade barrier legislation already adopted. 3. To foster the enactment of uniform laws and the adoption of reciprocal agreements. 4. To cooperate with various commissions on interstate cooper ation in calling regional hearings to carry out the recommendations ot the conference.
