Mrs. Miller is in excellent health. Mrs. Miller was born in Indi ana but moved with her parents to Iowa-when a small child. Hor father was one of the earliest Bettlers in ' Iowa and for many years he served as district judge of Dallas county. Iowa. Mrs. Miller came to Oregon with her parents in 1866. They came across the plains by ox team. She has lived in Oregon Eipce that time with the excep tion of three years. Husband Died in 1011 Mrs. Miller's husband passed am ay 27 years ago. Three of her six children are living ' and plan to -be present for her birth- aay observance. The are Mrs. Chloe Butx and Mrs; Frank Hol msn, both of. Dallas, and William P. Miller of sValsetz. Members of the First Metho dist, church here are planning a service in her honor at 11 o'clock Sunday morning, January 1. Rev. John A. Linn will speak at that time on the Subject: "Events of a Century." and Rev. W. H. D. Holiday of Los Angeles. Calif., will sing. Mrs. Holiday is Mrs Miller's niece. D. Walling against E. D. RoBsman. The plaintiff charges that the defendant operated his car in a careless and negligent manner. The ' defendant's car allegedly struck the plaintiff whila he was crossing the highway on the Dal las-Salem highway about five miles , west of the Marion-Polk county-' bridge. Guy O.
